Galileo Galilei writes theme song for 'Anohana'


Galileo Galilei is a Japanese pop/rock band formed in 2008.
After they won a competition for rock bands they got a deal to debut.
Galileo Galilei's first full length album Parade, released February 16, entered the Oricon Weekly Charts at
#5,  Up till now, they've released 5 single's
This theme song will be their 6th single and it's called 'aoi shiori' what means 'blue bookmark'

Fuji TV's noitaminA block will begin airing the new anime drama "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai." on April 8, 2011.

Galileo Galilei’s vocalist and guitarist Ozaki Yuuki recently commented on the writing of "Aoi Shiori":
This band seems very promising to me.
"When I first saw the contents of "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai", I got very excited. This time the idea for the the song just came to me, like it was intuition. I wonder if they are a good match, I'm very happy."
