Butterfly Nails Tutorial

Inspired on pics I found on internet, but I created another design.

Apply a basecoat

Apply coloured polish

Draw the black stripes

Make some white dots on the upside.

Sorry for the bad quality but the polish was very shimmering.

it looked pretty but not on the pics I took :o

This is defo my favourite <3

I made it for a cosplaymeeting.

I picked 2 larger flowers and matched them with leaves, buds and some small flowers

Just an orchid on a hairpin but lovely <3

This was meant as broche on my scarf. Later I dabbed some glittery nail-polish over it.

This one is actually attached to a hairband I costumized

Now the ones I made with potpourri

Nail-art Tutorial

Products I used:

- A Base coat
- Three different shades of Catrice
-Glitter

- Top coat

- A (piece of) sponge or make-up wedge

soon I found out the lightest shade hadn't much effect so I went on without it.

1. Paint your nails with the base coat.
2. Apply the lightest shade of nail-polish you have with the sponge/wedge.
   Because I used 3 colours ( 2 bright and 1 nude colour) I started at 1/3 of my nail

3. Apply the second layer with the darkest shade.
   I did this on 2/3 of the nail.

4. When you're done with the colours it's time for glitters!!!
   You can create the best effect by applying the polish horizontal.
   I only went over the pink nailpolish because I think it looks better than covering the whole nail.

5. Add a top coat so it will last longer.

I also did it with yellow:

I love this nail-art because it is and looks very simple but is very elegant because of the glitters and fading colours.

You can do it with every colour, so if you are bored just try another one ;)

Miss A's 'Good Bye Baby' inspired nail-art with tutorial

Fist use a base-coat.

I always use this shiny polish that also makes the nails stronger.

Paint your nails with a coloured layer.

I always choose to do two thin layers because it will look prettier.

I painted my dumb red because I wanted to do another pattern on it.

Don't worry if you have any product on your nails like me, you can always clean it off afer you're done.

It will get dirty anyways, when you're working with a sponge.

For my dumb I painted white dots on the red background.

It has the same pattern as Suzy's skirt.

Now we're gonna make some sort of a gradient effect using a sponge or a make-up wedge.

It is important that you don't have too many polish on your sponge.

You have to put a dot of nail-polish on a piece of paper so you can take a little bit of it.

If there is too many polish on your sponge tip it off a little bit on the paper.

The result of too many polish is the same as when you just polish your nails.

See the sponge-effect?

 

Do the same with black polish.

Now you're finished!

As a finishing touch I choose to add a cherry on my ring finger.

After this I finally cut my nails, they were too long.

French Glitter Manicure

Glitter Nail-Art

First I used a glittery pink nailpolish,

then I used other glitters and a topcoat.

Kana Nishino Nail-Art

I got my inspiration for this nail-art from J-pop singer Kana Nishino.

I saw a Live performance video where she had pretty cool nails.

Obviously I tried to do the same.

I think it turned out pretty well.

However I took it a few days after I did it,

so the quality is not the best.

I first aplied red and green polish on my nails.

Then I made stripes and dots on these colours.

You can aply a base coat or top coat if you want.

I had to mix some colours because the green I had was too bright.

The things I like about this manicure:

- It's so simple, yet very unique.

- It's easy to do it yourself.

- The colour combination is really unordinary, but somehow fits well.

- You can make very different variations with other patterns or colours.

I had somewhat lack of inspiration when I did this :)

I used a red polish as base,

then I used a white striper for the kanji.
