Galileo Galilei Will Release 2nd Album Next Month + Tracklist

The Pop/Rock group 'Galileo Galilei' that is known for (anime opening) songs 'Aoi Shiori' and 'Asu E' will now be releasing a second album. The album will be released on 25 January and contains 14 tracks.

Moumoon

Moumoon is a Japanese pop/rock duo.The duo consist of the vocalist, YUKA and guitarist Kousuke Masaki.In 2007 they signed a contract with Avex Trax, then they released their second mini album 'Love Me?'.When the duo performed 'SWEET HEART' for the first time on tv, they started to get attention from the vieuwers.

The two members met in the summer of 2004.
A year later they formed Moumoon
The band's name is part French and part English.
They used the French word for tender (mou) and the English word moon.

Moumoon had first signed onto the TRUE SONG label, but they switched in 2007 to Avex Trax.
The debuted with the mini album 'Flowers' in 2006
The single Flowers/pride charted number 106 on the Oricon charts.
When they released their debut mini-album 'Flowers' soon after that, they entered the Oricon on number 63.
Their first top ten single was 'Sunshine Girl' which entered on #12 but a week after that the single rose to 10.

BRIGHT releases new single

“LOVE ~Aru Ai no Katachi~” will be available in two editions when it is released on June 1st: a ‘CD+DVD’ version and a ‘CD-only’ version. The single will most likely include “Ichinen Nikagetsu Hatsuka”, which has not been confirmed for its own single release.

English version of one in a million

The australian singer Victoria S made a cover of Yamashita Tomohisa's 'One in a million'
She did the cover four months after Yamapi's single. Yamapi's 'One in a Million' had a lot of English in the lyrics but this version is completely written in English
However Yamapi scored a #1 hit, while her best rankings were the 45th and 49th place in the Austrian and German charts.

I'm totally Yamapi-addicted and reeally can't appreciate this version. The singing is bad and too much autotuned. Only the chorus is good, but that's because it's tthe same. The other verses are bad.

Remioromen's live album of March 9th concert

The Japanes rock band will be releasing a 2-disc live album, name “Remioromen SPECIAL CONCERT ‘Your Songs’ with strings 2011.3.9“, on April 27th.

The album contains recordings from the March 9th “Special Live” Remioromen held at the Yokohama Arena, which featured accompaniment by both a strings and a horn band.

The first limited edition will include a DVD containing video from the live as well as behind-the-scenes footage. The tracklist will be revealed  later.

I'm not a great fan of rock, but I love their soundtrack from 1 litre of tears 'Konayuki'

postponed releases and concert cancelations

Postponed releases
As all of you know, the earthquake and tsunami has resulted in many postponed release dates. On CDJapan, a great site for shopping from overseas, they have put up a long, long list of all the CD's, DVD's and goods that will have to be shipped later.
Here's a list.

Right now it seems like most releases in March will be released in April instead, due to companies having delivery problems.

Concerts
Upcoming concerts and stage shows of Johnny's artists were cancelled for this month. Instead they'll send trucks and generator vehicles to the disaster area.
After a meeting yesterday, Johnny's Jimusho decided to cancel all concerts/stage shows of their artists for this month. Affected are the concerts of:

- TOKIO
- Tackey & Tsubasa
- Hey!Say!JUMP,
- Yamashita Tomohisa
- Domoto Koichi ("Endless SHOCK")

Furthermore they're planning to send some of their transport trucks and generator vehicles, otherwise used for the concerts, to the disaster area.
That;s so sweet

Yamapi had a car crash so he'll be unable to perform

Miwa will release her album Guitarissimo on march 30

 

Aside from some new songs, the album contains five already released ones like her newest single "Haru ni nattara".

The CD+DVD edition includes some live footage from her LIQUID ROOM concert she hold last December as well as a 28-sided booklet.

Besides the album release, her upcoming "miwa live tour 2011 guitarissimo" is also confirmed. The tour starts on June 4th in Osaka and ends on the 19th in Shibuya.

For the people who don't know Miwa:
She sung  an opening from the anime 'Bleach' called 'Change'
After that she released Otoshimono (lost things)
That whas a soundtrack for the Drama Juui Doolitle.
Before the soundtracks she released some other songs (Little Girl, Don't cry anymore)

Miwa looks like a promising singer to me.
She has a good voice and is very cute.
Her songs always touch me.
Her PV's are very cute, Í become so happy when I watch Haru Ni Nattara.
There are a lot who think she looks like YUI.
I don't think so, Miwa is way better, no offense though.
I think her future popularity depends all on her ambition.
Miwa is definitely a singer who can become great if she puts effort in her career.

Galileo Galilei writes theme song for 'Anohana'

Galileo Galilei is a Japanese pop/rock band formed in 2008.
After they won a competition for rock bands they got a deal to debut.
Galileo Galilei's first full length album Parade, released February 16, entered the Oricon Weekly Charts at
#5,  Up till now, they've released 5 single's
This theme song will be their 6th single and it's called 'aoi shiori' what means 'blue bookmark'

Fuji TV's noitaminA block will begin airing the new anime drama "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai." on April 8, 2011.

Galileo Galilei’s vocalist and guitarist Ozaki Yuuki recently commented on the writing of "Aoi Shiori":
This band seems very promising to me.

"When I first saw the contents of "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai", I got very excited. This time the idea for the the song just came to me, like it was intuition. I wonder if they are a good match, I'm very happy."

BENI's new album

Due to the numerous requests BENI has received to release the footage from her first nationwide tour on DVD, BENI’s last tour will be available in a two-disc CD+DVD set beginning March 16th.

The CD will presumably include recordings of the songs BENI performed at the final stop of her tour, but will also include one bonus track named “ONLY ONE,” the theme song to an upcoming movie called Runway Beat.”

Kana Nishino FT WISE - By your side

I really admire Kana Nishino, one of my favourite songs from her is Aitakute Aitakute.
So, I was really glad when I heard she was teaming up with WISE again.
This is her 3rd song with WISE, they also collaborated with the single 'Yours Only'
Those two really make a great couple, I love the collaberation of kana's beautiful voice and WISE's rap.
The model and actress Hawana Kawaguchi is starring in this clip.

They are both so cute!!
I love the lyrics, they are easy to understand for those who can speak even a little japanese.
And a lot of lines are in English, and they are so cute and touching!
This song is again about a long distance relationship.
For Japanese people they pronounce the English words very good.
And this all means I've got a new favourite song ;)

A new single for ON/OFF

I almost couldn't believe this, like: oh my gosh my favourite twinbrothers get another song!!
I really love them. Well, how can I not with my Vampire Knight addiction ;)

So about the song:
The title is 'Hajimaru no wa, Sayonara' and the release date will be 27 april.
And It will also be another opening.  The anime 'beezlebub' will have an amazing soundtrack soon.
The single has two types: The CD only version and the CD+DVD limited edition.

Namie Amuro FT Yamashita Tomohisa 'Unusual'

For her new Album 'Checkmate' Namie did some collabs.
My favourite is (of course) Unusual.
I love Yamapi, and he makes a good duo with Namie I think.
The song has a sort of techno like feeling.
I have to say, if it wasn't a yamapi collab, I probably wouldn't like it.

I just saw the PV, and I'm still freaking out.
The backgrounds and the music kinda reminds me of those nightclubs.
The dancing is very cool.
I couldn't help but think of dream high at 4:24.

Also a thing that I like is that they put all the glitters on the background instead of on Yamapi's clothes.

Maybe you all knew Kana's song 'Distance', but it's also an album.

There are a lot of fans who haven't bought the album, because it was a little bit expensive.

Boa Kwon

Hey everyone, I was watching some MV's and then I ended up watching all boa's MV's all over again.
thhat's why this article is about her.

Boa debuted when she was only 13 years old. She and her older brother auditioned for SM entertainment. However, only Boa was choosen. After releasing two singles in 2000:  “ID; Peace B” and “Sara” she won The Rookie of the Year” award from the KMTV’s Music Awards.

 

She became more popular in Japan in May of 2001 with the Japanese version of  her hit single, “ID; Peace B“. It was a great success, and was in the Oricon Top 20 along with her follow-up singles, “Amazing Kiss” and “Kimochi wa Tsutawaru“.

She broke the record in Korea with selling her NO. 1 record, there were more than 1 million copies sold.

I admire Boa especially for her singing and dancing skills. You can see that she put a lot of effort and practices a lot (or she's just a natural talent :s ) Her live performanes are very fascinating, although I think she sounds a little bit better in the official MV's. If I watch her performances, the first word that comes in my mind is pro: if you can look like your just effortlessly singing and dancing, but actually are giving 1000% just too make the fans happy. Her MV's seriously ROCK!! they put very much effort in the choreography, clothes and make-up. All together it's very upbeat and energetic.

Saku Love by Juliet

Saku love will be Juliet's first single of 2011. It's already their ninth single.
