L'Arc~en~Ciel will sing the next FMA Theme-song

It’s been revealed that rock band L’Arc~en~Ciel will be singing the theme song for the upcoming “Fullmetal Alchemist” movie!

This will be the fourth time in which L’arc~en~Ciel will sing for the anime. They already released “READY STEADY GO” as an opening song for the first anime series, and in the following year, they sang both the opening and ending for “Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa”

The new film, “Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Seinaru Hoshi“, will hit theaters on July 2nd.

The movie “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST Milos no Seinaru Hoshi ” will be released in summer 2011.

“FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST” was a manga series on “Monthly Shonen Gan-gan” during 2001 to June 2010, and its last volume, the 27th, will be published on November 22nd.

2AM Jo Kwon's accident

On March 26th, 2AM’s Jo Kwon fell off the stage while performing at the “10th Lotte Family Concert.”

2AM was singing g.o.d.’s “One Candle” when Jo Kwon walked closer to the front of the stage to shake hands with his fans. However, Jo Kwon fell off the stage and disappeared into a pit of black, causing fans and concert representatives to scream mid-performance.

According to fans, although Jo Kwon was able to come right back up and continue dancing as if nothing had happened, he limped off the stage through the help of his fellow members.

Fortunately, Big Hit Entertainment revealed that he was not severely injured.

They expressed,

“Jo Kwon was making his way to the front of the stage to shake hands with his fans. Unfortunately, the stage lighting wasn’t bright and he couldn’t see where he was going. According to his hospital test results, he suffered minor bruising.”

Jo Kwon hosted Inkigayo as per schedule on March 27th, showing great professionalism on his part and will visit the hospital again after it ends for further checks.

Becky and Koki helping victims

On 27 march, this sunday Becky ( TV personality and singer) went to Yoyigi Park where she collected money for disaster relief efforts and supplies for all the pets that are injured or homeless after the earthquake

Becky asked the people of Tokyo to make donations as she stood in front of a board that read “It’s OK, Japan is strong” and “Let’s put a smile on the face of Tohoku”. Becky, an animal lover herself and certified carer, has two dogs, a turtle and a snake.
On Monday Becky said that she had collected ¥ 2,379,042 (29,094 USD; €20663) in donations, a hundred boxes of pet food, and about 70 animal cages. “I want to thank everyone for their kind donations,” she said, “I’m moved by how warm-hearted people are.”
When disaster strikes, pets are often the forgotten victims. They are left to fend for themselves if their owners has evacuated or died.
Cash donations will go to relief efforts of the Japanese Red Cross and donated items will be given to the Japanese Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Tanaka Koki visits victims of the earthquake

March 27th, he went to the Tagajo Culture Centre in Miyagi, which is currently a shelter for disaster victims.
According to a girls twitter account he signed autographs and took photos even though normally he is not allowed to do so by his agency.
He tried to make people happy, which impressed quite everyone at the shelter. "He's a really good guy!" was their response.

KAT-TUN single 'White' releases may 18th + tracklist

On Johnny's net it was officially announced that KAT-TUN will release their new single called "WHITE" on May 18th. The single will be available in three different versions.

After new KAT-TUN songs like "Perfect", "Diamond" as well as "WHITE" were used for various CMs, fans were curious whether one of these songs would be the next KAT-TUN single.
Today we have the answer; according to Johnny's official website, the new KAT-TUN single will be "WHITE", recently used for the new "SOFINA WHITENING" CM.
Release date is May 18th.

Kato Shigeaki to star in “6 gatsu no Bitter Orange” stage performance

NEWS member Kato Shigeaki will be a lead star in the stage performance “6 gatsu no Bitter Orange“, which will open at the Globe Tokyo in June.

“6 gatsu no Bitter Orange” is a newly written stage performance by G2 (stage director), and it will be a human comedy between two brothers and the father who is a practitioner.

Kato will play the younger brother who is good at everything, and as the older brother who fails at everything, TOKIO’s Joshima Shigeru has been chosen. Takarazuka Revue’s ex-top star, Asami Hikaru, will also be participating in the stage performance.

The stage performance will be opened at Globe Tokyo on June 3rd to 26th, and at Morinomiya Piloti Hall in Osaka on July 1st to 6th.
